In Japan, KitKat products can be broadly divided into two categories:

- Limited editions – Highly sought-after seasonal or collaboration products that attract many inquiries from overseas buyers.
Why Limited Edition KitKat Is Difficult to Source
Limited edition products are only available through advance reservations. If the order deadline passes, it becomes impossible to purchase them through official channels.
