Obon week in Japan

Between 10th of August and 18th of August is Obon week in Japan.

So we will have holidays this month.

Obon or just Bon is a Japanese Buddhist custom to honor the spirits of one’s ancestors.
This Buddhist-Confucian custom has evolved into a family reunion holiday during which people return to ancestral family places and visit and clean their ancestors’ graves, and when the spirits of ancestors are supposed to revisit the household altars.

It has been celebrated in Japan for more than 500 years and traditionally includes a dance, known as Bon-Odori.
For specific dates regarding these closures, please view the information below.

All the manufacturers will be closed from 10th/August to 18th/August.

MUSUVI staff will take a vacation and it will be difficult to get in touch with us for the duration of Obon.

If you have any urgent matters, please contact us before 10th.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by these closings.

Your understanding is appreciated.
